SASHIKO STITCH BANDANA

The bandana is made under the inspiration of a Japanese repair stitch technique know as Sashiko (or little stabs). This stitch is traditionally used to repair garments or combine layers to provide better insulation through winter.

Made from 4,5oz Spanish denim, the bandana is treated with a dry hand process where by it is not washed to allow for the maximum retention of its natural indigo.

Embroidery yarns are between two and five gauge cotton yarns with hems being 120 core-spun poly cotton.

Made to age with its user, this bandana has been kept in its purest state and when needing repairs should ideally be processed by hand.
